Welcome to the Lampropoulos group webpage.
The group was established in 2011, when Dr. Lampropoulos moved to the University of North Florida as an assistant professor at the department of chemistry. The group's research is in the area of inorganic and materials chemistry, while Dr. Lampropoulos is also an active chemical educator, eager to see his students succeed in both their coursework and beyond. The group is particularly diverse, often including female and international students. The laboratory is well equipped with dedicated major instruments, and through longstanding collaborations with leading experts in their respective fields, we are well positioned to play a leading role in the development of molecular technologies and materials. The latter is a highly interdisciplinary field, positioned at the corner of chemistry, physics, and engineering, while our molecules straddle on the knife edge between the classical and quantum regimes.
